BIOGRAPHY OF MICHELLE K. WOLKEY

Michelle K. Wolkey is a principal and one of the founders of the firm and has been practicing law in Spokane and the surrounding area since 1990.  Her practice focuses on employment law and related litigation representing both employers and individuals.  She has also been general counsel for Spokane Regional Health District since 2001 and general counsel for Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency since 2003.  Representation of these two municipal corporations includes advising the entities with respect to the compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act, the Public Disclosure Act and day to day regulatory and policy issues.

Ms. Wolkey is a member of the adjunct faculty at Whitworth University, where she has taught Employment Law for Business since 1999.  Ms. Wolkey is a member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association and Washington Women Lawyers.
